Broken Social Scene remains unbreakable…

Broken Social Scene has been creating waves with their experimental indie/folk sound since it has started in 1999. This ever changing band which has Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning as its two core members can rack up to 19 people when playing live!
Broken Social Scene keeps collaborating and adding to the list of contributors some indie scene royalty like Andrew Whiteman, Jason Collett, Metric’s Emily Haines, James Shaw, Evan Cranley, John Crossingham, Lisa Lobsinger, Stars’ Amy Millan and Feist.

The Canadian super-group even have their own book and have dabbed in soundtracks and film scores. We cannot wait to listen to the new album to be released on the 4th of May.
With a handful of shows around the time of the album release, The Great Escape Festival 2010 is the perfect choice to catch them live.
They’ll be showing off their characteristic baroque pop sound and proving why they’re still avant-garde in the indie scene on the 15th of May in Brighton
